TIRES
Used Tires in Rock Hill, SC — Inspected, Mounted, Balanced
Grade A used tires from $55 each at Tire Brothers, Rock Hill, SC. Every tire passes a 5-point inspection before it goes on a customer's car.
Used tires are how a lot of Rock Hill drivers get back on the road without spending $600 on a new set. Done right, they're a smart call. Done wrong, you're buying somebody else's problem. Here's how Tire Brothers handles it.
How we grade every used tire
Every tire that comes through our door gets a five-point inspection before it ever gets resold:
•
Tread depth. Minimum 6/32" remaining on a 32-bracket gauge. Anything less goes in the recycling pile.
•
DOT manufacture date. We read the date code on the sidewall. No tire over six years old gets resold, regardless of tread.
•
Sidewall. No bulges, no cuts deep enough to expose cord, no curb-rash damage that compromises the bead.
•
Internal liner. We dismount and look inside every tire for prior plug repairs, run-flat damage, and liner wrinkles. Patches are fine; bad plugs are not.
•
Match. When you buy a pair, we match brand, tread depth, and tread pattern so your car drives straight.
What it costs
Pricing depends on size, brand, and remaining tread. As of 2026:
•
Passenger 14"–16" — from $55 each, mounted and balanced.
•
Passenger / SUV 17"–18" — typically $65–$85 each, installed.
•
Truck / SUV 19"–22" — typically $85–$110 each, installed.
•
Light-truck / LT-rated — call for current stock and pricing.
All used-tire prices include mounting, balancing, new valve stem, and disposal of your old tire. Cash only.
When used is the smart call
•
Replacing one tire after a road-hazard puncture and you want it to match the rest of the set in tread depth.
•
Older vehicle that you’re only keeping another year or two — no point in spending new-tire money.
•
Winter beater, second car, or work truck.
•
Budget-tight repair where you need safe rubber today.
When new makes more sense
For long highway commutes, all-four replacement on a newer car, or anything performance-rated, new is usually worth it. We sell new tires from every major brand with next-day delivery on most sizes — ask when you call.
How to get yours mounted today
•
Find your tire size on the sidewall (something like 225/65R17). If you can’t find it, snap a photo and text it to (803) 670-6496.

Call ahead to confirm we have your size in stock — used inventory turns over daily.
•
Drive in. Most single-tire mounts take 20–30 minutes. Sets of four, about an hour.
