Tire Brothers is a family-run tire and auto-service shop on E White Street in Rock Hill, South Carolina. We've spent years getting Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, and York drivers back on the road — usually the same day, almost always for less than the chains.

We started Tire Brothers because most tire shops fall into one of two camps: cheap and sketchy, or honest and overpriced. We thought there was a third lane — fair prices, real workmanship, and zero pressure — and we built the shop around it.

Not every used tire is worth selling. Every tire that comes through our door gets inspected for tread depth (in 32nds of an inch), sidewall condition, internal repairs, dry rot, and DOT manufacture date. Tires that don't pass go in the recycling pile, not on your car.

When we sell a used tire we tell you the size, the remaining tread, and roughly how old it is — because you should know what you're buying.

We're a small crew. The same people who answer the phone are the ones who mount and balance your tires. That means no upsell scripts, no "the manager will be back in an hour," and no surprise line items on your ticket.

A lot of tire and brake decisions hinge on a few small details — DOT date codes, tread-depth rules, when used is the smart call vs. when new is worth it. We get the same questions every week, so we wrote them down. The guides on the blog are the same answers we give in the shop, just in writing.
